" Dont Call Me Guy Martin" (LOL) had a helluva race to get back to 4th from 14th at end of the first lap. He was excellent at IOM last year before an off. I think his future in the sport could be very bright!

Wrong. Clearly these riders are WAY BEYOND what they're supposed to be doing. Theu haven't just "over shot the braking zone by a few centimetres, no, they've all braked well beyond the braking zone. They, in effect, IGNORED the braking zone. They're actually ignoring 50% of the race, which is the skill of slowing down so you can survive going around the corner.

Hard to tell if he just leaned in too much on cold tires or he used the brakes on that turn and the front just came out. On the plus side, it happened at one of the slowest corners. Glad they are ok.

There was a suggestion that the bike no.16 Mike Brown unsighted the first rider to go down. It happens in racing of course. As you say it is good all were ok after it. I could have cried looking at the state of Davy Todd's lovely Ducati after the crash. Thanks for watching.

I think the first rider to go down was on the brakes a little too hard while leaned over quite a bit. I think his front tire washed out and he slid into the other rider bringing him down also. I'm glad no one was seriously injured!

It definitely as you described but also Mike Brown run in a little fast and run on. The white bike may have been following him but committed to the corner rather than overshooting. As you say the main thing is they were ok after it.

I don't know much about motorcycle racing, but to me, seeing as Davey Todd and Glenn Irwin were much faster, I wouldn't see the point of even trying to pass either of them so early on, plus there was no one attacking from behind. With the level of commitment he had going in, he should have had the rear end slightly askew to give more control being that late on the brakes and to avoid the front from letting go.
