I have an interesting issue. As the tv (P1) arrived I tried to customise image. But the only thing is changing is the brightness. Everything else (temperature gamma ect) after I change setting stays the same. I mean the picture. It isn't more blueish or something. Just the same. The reboot or android update installation doesn't help. Maybe you know something

Good question! So far not really just tweak a bit with colours

If you use it as monitor, it is imperative that you switch the Mode to 'Monitor'. Any other setting and your font and text will have white shadows (esp when you turn down the brightness) and it's a pain to view. Once you switch to 'Monitor' mode, the TV does not mess with your HDMI input from your laptop source, and your mouse cursor will also not be delayed (There is mouse cursor lag on other modes, I suppose it is because they perform some processing to the image received from the HDMI source).

I need help for best picture quality setting for mi p1 tv. Hi, I am using this as monitor. Graphics card is Radeon 6500xt. I want best setting for watching videos/movies/shows for windows. I have connected the tv with pc via hdmi 2.1 mode. So, my question is what is the best tv setting for watching movies? Like I need every setting details. I have enabled hdr in windows. And also windows has a option called sdr content brightness slider. Which affect all kind of image. Not only sdr. So I also want to know where to put the slider 0-100 value. And what player is best for hdr content? Microsoft edge showing supported hdr in Netflix but only playing video at 1080p and not 4k. Also not showing 4k option. Like in stranger thing, Netflix is showing hd and not 4k.

Thanks for the question! I believe for Netflix it depends on your subscription right? The cheapest subscription does not provide 4K footage I believe. As for the best settings you’ll need to tweak it for your own likings.

Hi, I have got a Xiaomi P1E55 and when I try to configure the settings that show in this video I find that I have not this parameters in my tv menu, only I can view brightnes or select picture mode "personaliced" y I can view more settings but not the same, for example I have not backligth setting. ¿any help on this?

Switch to Sport mode and then decide if you want to turn of or off all the motion options (this depends on your own preference). I like to turn it all off for a more natural experience

@@GaryJahman I'm going to explain my situation that I have on my tv, I have a app that is from my tv and service provider that can access all my channels through an app everywhere , it's called Vodafone tv ,and I've been noticing that the image isnt that smooth and fluid, but KZbin and Netflix works fine and smooth, Ive seen someone that changed from 60hz to 50hz and fixed the problem, but they had an mi box that had the option to change the refresh rate on it ,but I can't find it on mine Btw sorry for my English

Yeah it really depends on the content that you're watching. The settings in this video or pretty much for normal content. For HDR just switch it to the HDR profile and it should look good

@@hcrparamore No problem, happy to help if I can. Not sure about the HDR setting to be honest. For instance when I watch HDR content it switches automatically and looks fine to me. I don't like watching stuff from a memory stick as it gave me issues with the audio syncing. I think it reads the file too slow or something. Might be the same reason why your subtitles are not synchronized.

Change the hdmi from setting to 2.0 or 2.1 it's probably on 1.4 that's why hdr not working

Thank you very much for this Gary! One question: Seems like default resolution on the Home Screen UI (Android TV 10) is not so crisp and smooth as if I connect my Mi Box S. Maybe it is not set to 4K 60Hz by default, but rather something like 1080p30Hz? (movies on netflix and youtube videos are ok crispy clear 4K60Hz, its only on the UI) Do you know how to change this? Could not find a display resolution setting. Thanks!

It's weird. I read a review of this TV and in the text the reviewer stated that it was an IPS panel but in the listed specifications he stated that it was a VA panel. I wonder which is true? Anyway... The reflection handling on this TV must be one of the worst I've ever seen. But you cannot ask for much in this price range though.

In any case, in Spain, the 43 inch tv comes with IPS/ADS panel and the rest sizes have VA panel. However, in some markets the P1 55 inch TV (see Andy Tecnología tv KZbin channel) has an ADS screen.

I had some images problems,screen started to glitter in upper side 10 cm from above ,and also changing from bright to black, in news channel the faces had missing skin, in smaller human shapes(sky competition) they had aura around,very bad images and weird. I changed cable in difrent room but still the same,now is ok,the images is fine. This only happened in TV mode,in KZbin..etc..image was fine. Did anyone encounter same problem?i really don't know what happened,i have the TV from 22 of December and I really hope it was just and software error.

@@_Crystall Change the HDMI Version to 2.1. 1. Unplug the HDMI Cable 2. Go to Inputs. (Besides Setting's icon) 3. Choose which HDMI no. you're using with your console. 4. Hit Settings button on the remote. 5. HDMI Mode 6. Choose HDMI 2.1 It will eliminate the input lag. Currentlt using it on my PS5.

hello. Is it normal when switching sources (for example from hdmi1 to hdmi 2) that the image of the source we choose takes a while to load?? It does change but 35 seconds seems way too long. For me it takes up to 5-10 seconds 👍
