I wish he went through the whole story. They played together from late 91 to March 92. Jeff forced Gary to fire two members of the band, signed with G&M to Imago, and then quit before their first residency had even ended. It really sort of sucked for Gary, but he still speaks kindly of the guy. Sort of a graceful move.

He might have been using Gary as a springboard. Who knows

It's how it turned out right, but what a springboard. The album Grace is one of the best albums of the 90's.

So what happened in the end then? Did Tim Buckley's son become the singer in Gary Lucas' band?

He did play with them for a while and then he called it quits and went on to perform solo at first and later he formed his own band.
