Your landscape photography Gary is so mesmerising and beautiful, Belive it or not these type of pictures capture my soul from photo books I use to buy as a young man and I often wondered how do they get them to look so amazing and broody and atmospheric ... What Im trying to say is you pictures add great depth and beauty they look like I can put my hand into them and touch real life if that makes any sense at all, Anyway beautiful to say the least... Gorgeous photos from a great photographer...

Your photography is inspiring and challenging! At this point in my life I do ascribe to the adage that “the best camera is the one you have with you always”, all my recent (last 5 years) photos have been shot with iPhones (most recently a 12 Pro). Noting that the last two images were shot handheld with a smartphone, it gives me confidence I can create art with what I use now. Thank you!

I just love your style of photography. And I was surprised to see almost the exact image you showed at 4:39 mins hanging at the wall right in front of me - mine was taken 15 years ago without the trees and bushes, a tighter crop and in a b&w conversion - taken at a wobbling tripod with the D100 and a decentric sigma lens. And by the way: I recently discovered the brand Revolution Race and think they make fantastic outdoor clothes - really good value for the money.

Thank you very much Peter and yeah it's a great wee croft to photograph :) Revolution Race produces some great stuff, love the trousers in particular. Thanks again for watching😃👍👍

I always enjoy seeing how you edit. Also glad you showed us some handheld shots, beautiful. (I have a tripod, I just don't use it. I just up the ISO since I'm just walking the garden.) -Elaine

Thanks for watching Elaine, glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah on this occasion no tripod was required 😂👍

Super shots, Garry, Especially with the conditions, you really brought the best out of each image with your processing. I have had in the past almost a full week of wind and Rain on Skye and also in the area around Ullapool, we should know by now, but when you get the breaks it can be wonderfull.
