I planted a few peach trees the dear ate most of them 😔 but one survived so I just left it alone and put a fence around it, I heard that the leaves are like the trees engine so thought I don't want to trim any of those precious leaves off , now after learning from your videos I'm so thankful I did not trim it. Thank you Gary 🙂❤️

Hi, Gary! Thanks for all your great information. My 5 year old apricot, in Orange, has lost its crop for the last 2 years. Some was probably my mismanagement, some the wacky weather changes. How many producing years do apricots have? If I plant a second one, how close can it be? Keeping the current one at about 6'. This tree was planted 10' away from where a very old and very large apricot had died 10 years earlier, a new one would be even farther away.

Good morning Gary 🙂 I have a question for you, I have a big tree in the front yard and wanted to get a tree service to trim it down it's pretty big but you were saying that it got so big because the roots have spread out a really far way from the trunk , if I had them cut it to about half it's size , because I like the tree it provides nice privacy , but will trimming it eventually kill the tree because it won't have enough leaves to feed those roots that have spread out so far? It's a little stinker it spreads and has grown little trees in a near by fence that I think popped up from the main trees roots . And will the tree put out those branches that shoot strait up after trimming ? My Mom said she had a tree trimmed down once and noticed it grew strait up really fast once she trimmed it. But I as kind of think maybe if I trimmed the trees coming up in the fence often was thinking like a bonzi could I train the trees to fill in the fence for privacy if they would grow low rather than strait up.
