I was 18 when I married. My first husband went in the Army 5 months after we married and was in Viet Nam. My second husband served with the Navy and was in during the Viet Nam era. I am also the mother of a veteran who served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Though both of my husbands are gone now, my son is still with us. I am proud of all three. Freedom is not free and no one will know that better than those families who have loved ones who gave all. God Bless Gary Sinise with all that he does in helping our veterans.

I then served nearly 30 years as a Police Officer here in NY state. But now I’m having problems with my old war wounds and would love to see the Lt Dan Band in person. Oh well, we can always hope.
