Wheres the latinos??? They are americans with latin surnames. It's funny Derek Sanchez, Joshep Perez, Matt Lopez, etc, etc, ha ha ha. Parents are crazy with those names to become "americans". It's different to be a latin american livin in latin america that be americans livin in american with 0 contact with latin america and only with spanish heritage surname. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Art is a legend. My band got to open for WOP in 2018 and I got the opportunity to meet him and tell him how much his early drums videos and work influenced me. He left, then came back with a cymbal off his kit, signed it and gave it to me. A moment I’ll never forget as long as I live. Dude is so down to earth, and deserves everything he’s got. 🤘🏽

Art Cruz is one of the coolest people on this planet! He finally achieves the one thing he wants most and he's nearly shitting his pants worrying about whether or not he's gonna play the music right. He is the best person I have ever seen in my 53 years of life to replace Chris Adler. The most down to Earth guy who all of us would love to meet and talk to about music, magic and life in general. Art deserves the best from life and I hope he gets the best everyday of his life. Rock on Art!!!!

These two dudes have the most positive vibe ever. They seem like such nice people to be around. Also, the appreciation for success rather then the arrogance of it is very refreshing.

I learned a lot about Art Cruz that I never knew before this. An absolutely great interview. I guess with him being a musician as well that he asks questions that aren't the standard ones you get from nearly every music interview. I really enjoyed this! Awesome Corey Taylor story and it's so good they get to do this tour coming up together. Lot of history and it's going to make for some cool moments along the way.

I remember that Lamb of God, Trivium, Machine Head and Gojira tour in Calgary, Alberta. It was my first time seeing all of these bands. I remember Lamb was taking a while to hit the stage and people started throwing bottles and shit at the stage. (Side note I was very front at the barrier… what a fucking experience!) one of lambs techs came on stage and came to the mic. He yelled “are you all ready to see lamb of god?!” The crowd went wild. He replied with “then stop fucking throwing bottles at the drum kit” the crowd went wild again! They ended up coming on and opening with laid to rest and blew the fucking power 15 or so seconds in. They changed rigs and continued to slay. Man what a fucking experience for my first LOG show. Such an epic night. All the other bands killed it as well.

I remember when Winds of Plague opened for As I Lay Dying back in June 2018. Art was in front of me playing drums (Was SOMA Backstage) what beast to watch up close!! I drove from Fresno and it was one of the best shows. I was in the mosh with Art and he was also crowdsurfing while AILD was playing. At the end of Winds Of Plague set, Art handed his cymbal to one of the fans in the crowd. What a fucking badass 🔥
