GAS attack RECOVERY: 1 year later...GET FIZZY WITH IT

Just over a year ago I made a video claiming I was 'done' with buying gear.
Deciding to prove myself the charlatan, I made this video to check in with myself and share my experience.

The journey is infinite. I find that when I focus on my playing the marketing schemes of the industry are less effective. Of course I did buy a new pedal earlier this month, which I needed so bad that it’s still unopened in the box. Maybe my laziness out powers my GAS.

GAS .. I have my moments of weakness.. which I justify to myself are “opportunities”.. Such as.. picking up a used Stingray5 .. or a one if a kind custom hand built “Behemoth” prototype bass from Dan (KZbin channel Guns and Guitars).. .. I do not buy often .. but each time I do I feel guilty. But as you say.. we work hard.. so we’ve earned it!! GDI!! 😂 One thing I’ve committed to is to stop buying plug-ins for my DAW. I have more than I need.. a need to learn how to use better what I already have.
