I'm not a HVAC person, that sure looks like a complicated way to heat a house. An other great video, Steve.

Steve, how did you know the circulator was running. Is it because you can feel it vibrating a little bit?

Cold up there without heat. Heat calls will be coming in heavy, I'll bet you stay busy.

Our boiler basically works well except adding more often, do it mean steam radiator valve too open? I added too much water yesterday, now can not turn on the furnace, should I dump more out first?

How did so much air get into the system? Was it from that leaky high vent?
@BlackJesus16744 жыл бұрын

What happens when the whole house freezes up like a brick? See you in spring?

What causes air in lines anyway Steve? Sorry if dumb question.
@morcowbell93876 жыл бұрын
Lovin Water , an expansion tank failer or a water leak ( relief valve leaking or float vent ) !

Mor Cowbell thanks for the replay. Sorry just seen your comment now.. yeah steve mama does a brill job he knows how to do it lol. I live in uk. My mums house got laminated flooring in the frount room and her boyfriend almost blew the house up by hitting a gas main which should not been alive had to call out a guy in middle of night gas was strong gas smell. Gas main now been diverted now. Tooken away out frount room 😂 gas pipe for the boiler lol.

Sorry for the simple question, but, How does it get so much air in the lines?

MASSASOIT all that dirt and rust causes a hydrogen build up in the system

Noob question, what was the thing you were tapping at 8:58, next to the gate valve? Not sure why you dislike that purge station...
@morcowbell93876 жыл бұрын
Greg Bannish , that’s older isolation/ purge set up . Problem is that tiny handle breaks off or seizes up and leaks
@stevenlavimoniere6 жыл бұрын
this type of purge station is a waffer /flapper type of shut off,, not 100% shut off like a ball valve ,,so a ball valve is a better set of for a better purge no leakage .
