Methinks there are some QUOCKERWODGERS in the ( political) house. Never heard this term before.? Here's the relevance...QUOCKERWODGER is a term used in England in the 1860s. The term describes a wooden puppet. It also was used to describe POLITICIANS who allow their strings to be pulled by outside third parties- rather than serve the interests of their constituents. QUOCKERWODGERS...just as relevant now, as back then...

So let me get this straight. Sky News was at the protest filming outside a private home and reporting on the protest. How was that not doing the same as the ABC? Or is it OK to film outside someone's private home so long as the story is critical of the ABC and its coverage of climate protests?

Media freedom is based on a very real responsibility and that is to endeavour to report the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. In recent years this responsibility has been broken and/or ignored by the media generally regularly on two counts: 1. Lies of omission of all the facts and 2. voicing median’s own views and interests if and when they do not align with the truth.

Correlation doesn't equal proof. You could say cane toad population is increasing at the same rate as car thefts but that doesn't mean case toads are running a chop shop

5:17 - The gold Logie is won by a public vote, so this shows the majority of those who cared enough to vote either (a) didn't care about those comments or (b) didn't remember those comments.

"Onya sonya " is as bad as a name we had for a girl in 12th grade , " sharron share alike" or " panda amanda" [ dark circles under the eyes, she never forgave me for that one to this day, probably because i yell out " hey panda" whenever i see her] very childish behavior for a "professional" journo.... i know it sounds hypocritical but i heard being a hypocrite is the fashion nowadays before the comment nartzees arrive to scold me ...but really , onya sonya for that " waycicist joke " , had me in stitches when she turned and said " how are the relatives by the way " to the man behind her! bring back good aussie humour ! waycist appearing jokes are HUMOUR NOT HATRED , taking the piss , poking fun and immitating accents is NOT hatred but actually INCLUSION because we do this with our mates , not people we dont like , those we tell in no uncertain terms " piss off, we dont tollerate your kind around here " usually in my experience directed at real waycist sphincter muscle , and not a person of colour /race , ironic hey? or just against the "narrative"?

I would add that the ABCs coverage of the Paris riots, Maui fires and various climate related events worldwide has been minimal at best. Whats going on?
