I've been waiting for this episode! I've been playing the campaign just a tiny bit ahead of this series, and I _immediately_ wanted to watch your video on this mission when I saw it. Oh boy, your reaction did not disappoint. You should try reading some of the operations logs between missions/operations, they're pretty interesting and tell a neat story. Would add a lot to the series.

Absolutely LOVING these episodes, please please please try to get them out maybe two at a time or daily if possible. Can't get over how well done this game looks. It reminds me of command and conquer red alert but sort of like a mature RL version.

So.. just been re-reading Red Storm Rising (Tom Clancy) and this game really evokes the atmosphere of that book, with the same tech level... Your voice would be good for reading the battle chapters... you could use your cinematics from this game to make a cool video of those chapters. Just a thought. I saw a video on YT recently done with DCS to show the air battles over Iceland from the book. ... OOOh .. and you could use Cold Waters to do the scenes with USS Chicago, USS Reuben James (and HMS Battleaxe - which is also in Dot.mod) .. The Charlie SSGN attacks on the Atlantic convoys... Another thought.. I would have used that negative card for that last phase...

A little pronunciation help as it is one of THESE German names.... The city is called [ˈaɪ̯zənax] and it is one of the big culturally significant places. The Wartburg lies there (in which Martin Luther translated the Bible into German), which is a symbol for the struggle for democracy and unification in Germany. So sad to see war ravaging places of what is a place of culture. Makes you shudder to think what could have happened 40/50 years ago. That being said - super interesting stream as usual. I just love your content.

It's strange that the T-72 are so weak in game. Alongside the T-80, T-72 was among the best soviet tanks around that period. Modern days T-90 and the new Armata are just a pile of dirt but those old soviet models was actually really good. At least with the era technology and doctrines.

Dal nome credo tu sia italiano. Comunque i T-72M1 erano la versione d'esportazione data alla Germania dell'est e a livello di corazza erano sul livello di un T-72A più o meno. Non avevano inoltre corazze reattive o visori termici ed utilizzavano munizioni meno avanzate. I russi in gioco invece hanno carri come i T-80UD che sono di gran lunga meglio protetti e con proiettili più performanti.

@@jacktk2223 I T-80 rimasero efficienti sul campo fino ai primi anni 2000. Sono passati ventidue anni da allora, non so se hanno eseguito aggiornamenti sul carro, ma visto che hanno buttato parecchi fondi per farsi quel rottame di Armata, ne dubito. Tantopiu che le principali linee di produzione stavano in Ucraina. Non è un mistero il perché i russi vogliono riprendersi quel paese, hanno troppi interessi là.

@@danielefabbro822 io parlavo in riferimento agli anni 80/90, ad oggi un t80u non è più il carro più avanzato ovviamente, ne tanto meno il più protetto. Comunque si, è stato aggiornato partendo dalla base del T80B e portandolo allo standard T80BVM con una migliore corazza reattiva, proiettili ed ottiche. Ma è comunque mediocre, non di certo eccezionale. Mentre il T-14 Armata si basa su un concept davvero molto interessante e che probabilmente inciderà sui progetti futuri per diversi anni. Il problema è che è ancora in fase di test ed i russi non hanno i soldi per costruirlo in massa, come per il resto dei loro progetti. Ma sulla carta è un ottimo mezzo. Penso che gli USA faranno qualcosa di simile per sostituire il loro Abrams, ma se ne parla verso il 2040 visto che ne hanno già pianificato un altro l'M1A2D che dovrebbe essere la versione definitiva di questo carro.
