When they released previews for the season, I recall how Ally said that they wanted their narrative arc to be about Kristen Applebees facing the consequences of their decisions. But honestly - this season feels more like everyone *else* at the table has been facing the consequences of Kristen's decisions.

She (kristen) literally has it easier academically than every character except maybe fig. Gorgug has it 3x harder than she does, fabian has it decently harder, adaine literally both has to spend downtime on a teenager job AND rolls academics with disadvantage. Kristen literally spends more time on class president bits (not even taking that seriously) than cleric. And class president was something she randomly decided to care about despite not caring. So far Rizz has paid for kristens mistakes more than she has.

@@unexardiximarion1920 as are a lot of people tbh. season 1 was grounded and emotional, season 2 was less so, but still had serious moments and plotlines, this one is just a pile of spaghetti and cheap laughs.

I miss the vibes of the first season when they didn’t have a bunch of gimmicks and bits that overrode the plot. 😅 There’s still some incredibly funny stuff happening, for sure, but it feels like we’re teetering close to jumping the shark and I hate to say that.

Tbh as a DM I could tell Brennan was hinting at something, and I think Ally realised it too. I read it more as Ally being torn between being the party cleric and rolled the proverbial dice by willingly playing into Brennan's hand haha. You can see Zac also picked up on this vibe, since he thought Brennan was improvising something to help them but NOPE! They fell into the ole Player Trap!
