I think the father had something to do with it. Not only did the kid say it was the father's fault, but the father was talking weird, almost like he might have been trying to convey a threat about snitching without alerting the cops. The whole thing where he was being patronizing to the cops while hovering over his son gave off some of the signs of an abusive/toxic parent who switches from Mr. Hyde to Dr. Jekyll when the cops show up.

they're 100% real they're responsible for some paranormal activity and they usually target non-believers they also feed off negative energy like if someone has a stroke they'll take advantage of that person and torment that person until the person dies and yes some of them have possessed some of the living simply because they crave life

Poor guy is possessed. The devil in him was manifesting. That's what happens when you drink too much. You let these devils in you and then you lose control because the devils take over.
