For ANY one who is Sitting on the Fence thinking about weather or not to buy one of these gas blocks, I am here to tell you that after installing one on my Seekins custom build, It has now fullfilled my Dreams of the Perfect running AR-15. I Now know what the Pro's have known that "Gas is the Secret" mine is on 5 and it allows me to shoot my un-suppressed Rifle without Recoil, IT IS the WAY LUKE, "Loose the Gas Luke!"

this is exactly why I looked this video up. I have an adjustable gas block and I don't like the fact that if I tune it for my suppressor then it won't run without it.

Everywhere else I've seen suggests 4 o'clock ejection pattern is ideal. Essentially 4 would be good, 3 would be OK. I suspect your view differs because more gas = more reliable?

I recently purchased a Rifle Speed product and have encountered several issues that I believe need addressing. The main problem lies with the plungers used for gas adjustment. Having to buy and switch out multiple plungers to control gas flow is inconvenient and feels like an unnecessary expense. Instead of selling additional plungers, the product should feature a single, adjustable plunger that can be fine-tuned from settings 1 to 12 (or more) as needed. This would allow users to lock it down, open it up fully, or make precise adjustments without the hassle of swapping parts. Additionally, the gas block gets extremely hot, making it challenging to adjust without risking a burn. This design flaw impacts the overall usability of the product. While the concept is good, these issues need to be resolved to improve the customer experience. Simplifying the gas adjustment system and addressing the heat problem would make this product much more user-friendly and reliable.

@@michaelstop Thanks for your purchase and feedback. The ability to change the Plunger is what makes the system so completely versatile, working on everything from a 5.5” Blackout to a 26” 300 Winchester Magnum and anything in between. We include the two most common sizes with every kit. Changing those is optional. If one of those two doesn’t work for your carbine we’ll send out a different one. If the Gas Control is too hot to touch them the rifle is running and the gas doesn’t need to be adjusted. Once you know your settings for your application you can select that setting prior to firing. The heat is a non issue then. Thanks again!

I will say this, I REALLY wanted to like this system and stuck with it for, trying different things, including buffer weights, springs, BCG’s, ammo and meticulous notes of the adjustments. I just could not get this to reliably run an EXTREMELY over gassed rifle after more than 2 90% full mags. I know it was the system because after 12 hours, and 9 range sessions over 1.5 months I changed to a superlative adj block and the damn thing runs like a hell bent colt newly released. I love the adjustability, the materials and the concept and so did many of the other shooters at my 2 ranges. But if you have a really over gassed rifle, this may not be the one. 😢

They make different plungers for fine tuning, I'm not sure if you tried that but it is supposed to help.

You obviously don't know how to adjust the Rifle Speed..I have fine tuned all of my Rifle speed adj gas blocks perfectly using different length plungers..The best way I found is to use a bore scope and visually see where the plunger sits to the gas port and adjust accordingly..I have replaced all of my adj gas blocks with Rifle Speed and Superlative was one of them..The Rifle Speed adj gas block is a game changer and leaves the others for the bargain bin counter..

@@hairydogstail tried different plungers, and even took to a gunsmith, and paid in case I was missing something. I really wanted to like & use it. In the end, didn’t work and even on a different rifle. The superlative worked right out of the box and with small adjustments I was banging out rounds in 5 min vs 2.5 months of tinkering and “fixing” a problem. So I OBVIOUSLY know how to adjust them, after having to practically take it apart and reengineer it. Great concept, but gets a 0, don’t recommend from me.

@@ronniereyes4632 So how does an over gassed rifle keep running over gassed if the plunger blocks the gas port?? Not buying it..
@susanmcpeterson11364 ай бұрын
So do I buy an adjustable bcg too ?
@riflespeed4 ай бұрын
No. Let the Gas Control do all the work at the port so you only deliver the gas you need to the BCG & no more.

Not sure I want to buy one. Could just buy a PWS, but I like the thought of staying with Stoner's design and remaining American AF.

Jim Sullivan stated the one mistake they made when they designed the AR15 was not putting an adjustable gas metering system in it..He says this is still a problem with the M4 rifle..Rifle Speed corrected this..
