One of the best videos I’ve seen for a beginner like me. Now I understand what is meant by “gasket” when hearing it in reviews. You explained it so well. So thank you for that. Greetings from Denmark 🇩🇰

Of all the keyboard videos I've watched from you or other creators, this is the best one I've ever seen. I've been working on creating a silent keyboard for gaming at night while my family sleeps. This is so insightful!

I'm glad they at least avoided putting a gasket right next to the spacebar switch and it sounds like the board isn't muting the spacebar too much. The irony is that adding more gaskets means an increase in the effective spring rate of the board making it LESS bouncy but because it's poron it's probably still not harsh like a tray mount.

loving the content Scott! I’ve done a number of different things messing around with the gaskets on my Bubble 75 that you’d recommended God only knows how many years ago! I’ve gotta say I really don’t understand the gaskets on the side of the plate. Seems like it’d be a real limiter on the pcb/plate assembly’s ability to move up and down, but I suppose it’s all preference at the end of the day.

These are such good videos! I've watched these in school and been watching so many of them at every chance I get. I love your content and keep it up. If you also don't mind, I need help trying to make my Akko MOD 007B PC be somewhere in between clack and creamy sounding keyboard. I've tried to listen to the science of the keyboard sounds, but I usally just get confused.

Can you remove gaskets from this keeb? That way, you can choose if you want it more or less dampened.

Keybored, I think you should try a beginner targeted video of the science behind the materials to make the thock, clack or even pop properties. Examples include foam type, tape type, case type, or the plate and keycap type.
