Hello all,
Today I will be exploring Wied (valley) Hoxt, or as we all know it Wied Iz-Zurrieq. I will start from the most visited area and make my way inland into this beautiful valley until I reach the Wied iz-Zurrieq Bel Veder near the raod. Very interesting trek.

Dear Pierre. You may remember me from my comments to some of your other VLOGS, but just to remind you, I lived in Malta from 1953 to 1956 and again from 1963 to 1965. I did not return to Malta until 2015 and again in 2018. I was taken aback (unsurprisingly) by all the changes that have taken place in Malta. Thankfully, your excursions tend to be where progress has not yet reached. Wied il Zurrieq is one of those places that has not changed. The town itself has grown from the village I remember, but the valley has not changed a bit. Although I visited the valley many, many times I did not get to see it as you do from your treks. Unfortunately for me I now have lung problems that do not just prevent me from flying to Malta, but would certainly prevent me from attempting any of your treks. I am so glad at 74 years of age that I can sit down on a cold, wet miserable evening here in England and relive some of my memories through your posts. Thank you so much !!!

Pierre another amazing vlog .Once again amazing rugged and colourful scenery what our small island provides. Well done buddy. When we were young we used to swim this part of Wied iż-Żurrieq. It was famous for eels (a bit scary) and there was a rock we used to call it il-Ħmar which is visibke especially when the sea level is low.

Thanks Pierre for another interesting vlog and this time featuring Wied iż-Żurrieq. Well yes, as most comments remarked it was so challenging, and an Alpine Ibex was a good resemblance when having such good and accurate grip climbing up those rocky walls, a very well done safely. Beautiful views all along and I enjoyed the adventure a lot. Thanks for all. 👍👍
