Were you as disappointing as we were with main dining food on MSC Euribia to Hamburg the other week? We didn't even bother going to dinner in there on the second night! Food was absolutely appalling...worst I've even had on MSC.

We did a brunch in MDR on Euribia and it wasn’t particularly good, service was bad as we had a rude waiter… we did a specialty dinner and buffet and they were pretty good…

You're lactose intolerant like me !! I took a Cunard cruise after becoming lactose intolerant and was so relieved to find they accommodated my dietary needs (I was so scared of getting ill). What's been your experience with other cruise lines when it comes to your diet? My worst nightmare would to be on a ship where I struggled to find anything I could eat 🥺 Any tips would be welcome. I'm sure this is a bigger issue than people realise but gets little representation (unlike vegan and vegetarian diets). Interesting fact: Most of the Asian population is lactose intolerant as cattle (used for dairy) were not part of rural life until recent centuries apparently.

We actually had the best meal of our cruise in Chefs Garden Kitchen 😂 (and we were even in YC!) But I agree it was the bread, starters and mains that stood out and not the desserts.

We don't do the main restaurants and very few specialty dining venues, we eat at the buffet, plus we're vegetarian. By far the worst food we've ever encountered on any of the main cruise lines was the buffet on Iona. They have a vegan and a vegetarian option at night and the most apt description is slops. The food was disgusting. By far the best food we've had as vegetarians (excluding vegan cruises) was on Ambassador's Ambition.

Justin has issues in some lines being lactose intolerant maining american lines, but on some like Aida there is a full section in buffets for vegan , vegetarian, and people with allergies. Agree with Ambasador Ambition had some great LF food

@@krysab6125 They give you the next day's menu to choose what you want and, for us, they delivered it to the buffet. Ambassador have a meet and greet the morning of the second day for anyone with dietary requirements and are extremely accommodating.

Oh MATE. As a vegetarian, I'm used to 'interesting' risottos, but beetroot? It bullys everything with a muddy taste, turns everything pink! Yuck! I also know my foraging, and believe me, even though buckthorn is both abundant and very high in Vitamin C, there's a reason people don't eat it for funsies 😆

One of the best risottos I ever had was a beetroot risotto in Zurich but Aussies love beetroot which is why we have it on burgers.
