Yeah I have it too, be thankful. Could have been something much worse. I feel lucky that I got gastroschisis, not something horrible.

I was born with a severe case of gastroschisis. My parents were told that I wouldn't make it be a even a year old, that eventually my organs would just give up. I am now 26 years old and I have 2 healthy baby girls❤ One of my childhood best friends was also born with a severe case of gastroschisis, Sadly she passed away when she was 7 years old ❤

That’s amazing!!! I’m 26 years old and I was born with gastroschisis, my parents told me they were devastated because the doctor told them I don’t have any chance to live So here I am 😂😍 My question to you is : didn’t you have anything complications when you give birth ? Thank youuu

that’s what happened to me. doctors said i wouldn’t live long and here i am 13 years old :)

Hi! 😄 I have gastrochisis. It makes me so happy to see other little survivors like I was. I hope this family is well. I have a little scar on my stomach from it. It looks like a small stone. It is adorable to see this little baby. What a survivor 🥰💓

my niece is a gastroschisis baby. she's doing pretty good, but there's something wrong with her defecation, other than that she's completely normal. i wasn't allowed to see her in the NICU at first because i was too young, but there was one nurse who would let me in because i had all my vaccinations, and i got to hold her. thankfully she got out before i turned 13 and i was very happy to see her home when i got home from school. she's now 6 months old and she's very happy.

I also was born with the problem in 1972, now 50 years old I seem to be doing OK. I've never been back for a checkup.
