I was always sad the anime never got a sequel, but it’s funny the people inside the gate have no idea how deadly their enemy could have been if we started launching satellites into their world to show off up to date military equipment, it would be even funnier if we would have gotten a sailing episode with the Japanese trying to set up trade routs and watch Wooden boats be ripped to pieces by the heavy guns.

Actually no, the fastest was one made in the late 50s by nasa. I have it on a poster. The X-15. Top speed of 4159 mph, or 6693 kph. Even the SR71 blackbird only reaches 2275 mph, or 3661 kph. Now, admittedly, the X-15 was only research, but was only 14186 kg, or 31276 pounds. So I likely would be much slower with an mg and missiles, and complete military abilities.
