Critical Killer did an awesome job explaining the meaning and the purpose of the S.A.S (Special Air Service) at the end. They are special forces, and love to do their job _covertly_ (or _secretly_ in general terms). However, you should have explained to them two things, which is necessary for a better understanding of the missed out stuff: 1) The people being killed were "Terrorists"; a group of armed militants trained for intentions of massive and intense property damage and human harm, via explosives and other sorts of high-tech weaponry. They are merciless cold-blooded killers, and the S.A.S does the best thing everyone should do to these beasts in disguise: Zero Tolerance, eliminated on spot. There is a reason why the S.A.S doesn't take prisoners; no complaints of "innocent prisoners" if _there are no prisoners_ :D. 2) Nightvision works like these: it uses optoelectronic image enhancement, which works by "sensing small amounts of infrared light that are reflected off objects and then electrically amplifying that light into a characteristic glowing green image". To be simple, they catch up the _infrared_ radiations in the surrounding, and reflect them back to the goggles, thus enabling the user to view the world through a "green" perspective (or in other nightvision goggles, a gray perspective). Introduction and explanation of Infrared Radiations is also necessary for G.A.T.E to properly understand the mechanism of Nightvision Goggles.

you made a mistakes, SAS does takes prisonners, they take down the contact only if he become hostile, Special forces do not engage like litterally brute, people think this because of the video games but their operation are smooth at a point that the hostile forces do not even notice sometime
