They are coming out with them inthe US I heard, but unfortunately it's not an Anime character inside it, instead it's these ugly pathetic looking CGI normal human characters instead. T_T

The response time is still long enough, maybe they still on development with the voice recognition.

Could also be that the Voice recognition works over a Server in Japan and if you are to far away you have problems with too long delays. But the biggest problem is still: that virtual Avatar have too less features to be really helpful. With only some less features it is more a toy than a daily used tool. If it had more features and would be localized for my language, I would buy one. But so it is a too expensive toy.
