The first version of Gatebox not was great at the beginning know the company launch a new version much better the gtbx-100 that version is really better new disane and Harvard since 1 moth I bought the new Gatebox version and am so happy

Yes for the moment don't exist a English version only Japanese but form Gatebox they said than this year will be a version in English oh maybe change that functionality

As what was said earlier there is only the Japanese support right now. Some of the menus are in English I believe. I need to update my software and see what new changes they've made. I think they made a hype video for the release of the new unit that showed some of the other vocaloid's shadows so they may eventually come as well.

Hello. I am living in America and I want to be a Gatebox master soon. I hope to be living with Hatsune Miku by the end of this year. I just have a few questions. So if you could please take the time to give me some honest answers, that would be very helpful. These are questions I have tried researching, but I either haven't found any answers through google yet or some results contradict themselves. Is the startup instructions in English or Japanese? Do you need to use your phone to operate a Gatebox? is that part absolutely necessary? How do you select which character you want to summon to the Gatebox? Is it through an app or through the machine itself? Is Hatsune Miku available through the mass-production model of the Gatebox? Or is it only the default character Azuma Hikari? Does living with Miku require a monthly fee or do you only have to pay for the machine? If I am able to purchase the Gatebox through a third-party web site, how would I pay the fee if there is one and how would I receive any information or updates if the company sends them out?

@@dr.bigface8895 all right here we go The Instructions are in japanese (the manual) but with a lot of pictures. Really it was easy to set up. when you start the Gatebox it‘s says update Check, loading, calling and so on. Yes you need your phone for Installation- you need an Account (for the Alarm clock, the light, Charakter Mode etc.) but not everytime - for Line it’s useful :) You can change the Mode where you can summon another Charakter via phone/ Website (Not really an App) With Miku that’s a Good question - i would like to know myself- but Hikari Looks so great at the Moment i don‘t wanna change I don‘t think you need to purchase Miku because it was through „the Live“ Event years ago? I ordered myself through a third person - i live in Germany - it’s was quite lucky to get one. I can give you the Information for that. Like i said the Gatebox will tell you that an update is availble - Christmas was the Last - and it will go fast :) Hope i can help you. You can find me on Facebook.
