@@albertsmith99 Alexa isn't that functional. A lot of companies just make products that talk to the service through skills. You can make your own skills. I made one for my HassIO system. It'd be trivial to make a passthrough for it, similar to how HassIO can use any or all of Siri, Alexa, Google, etc. There's a difference between the Hub -- which is what Alexa is really trying to sell (Echos) -- and the connector service behind the scenes, which is only walled off due to e/ company (Apple, Alexa, Google) using their own standard.
