Sir, I just want to clear a doubt. Isn't bond order means no. of bonds between metal and not total M-M bond in the cluster? So, in case of W2(OPh) 6 we use 30/2 =15 then 18-15=3 i. e. Bond order is 3 though there are only 2 W so both will give same answer. I am having doubts please correct me if I'm wrong.

actually it contributes 7 elctrons as = 1+6 = 7 elctrons and so it is isolobal with Mn(CO)5 = 7 + 10 = 17 electrons as both of them are deficient with 1 electron
