the problem with me is just the 4mm bottom out. It's fine for modifiers but it gets fatiguing at long play sessions. It's not the weighting- i rather enjoy the weighting of MX blacks and their clones, I'm just spoiled by the short linear switches I've used for so long. I feel like even SCCL Alps were shorter throw than MX- and I've used a bunch both new and old. They're fun for like a week or so but I'm always kinda fatigued.. I don't get why people are so freaked out over this switch, we've been lubing MX blacks at home for years now and it's kinda just the standard imo.

I have some vintage mx black, and they feel better than this switch. But I personally prefer this one over new MX Black. But maybe it's just a personal preference!

You could just stop bottoming out then. No one forces you to travel the whole 4mm. Aren't Cherry MX Blacks full 4mm travel as well? I guess what people are "freaking out" about these is 4mm travel without R3 Cherry profile collision and pretty smooth from the factory.
