It's so cool to see a Historic Route 66 City at night with all the neon lights on, and one does feel like stepping back in time! 😍 It was remind me of the Fremont Experience in Las Vegas, except it's much quieter and less flashy. 5:39 The animatronic didn't scare you this time. 😂 I enjoyed seeing the vintage gas stations & pumps, cars, signs, shops and etc. Hampton Inn is decent, and I love that breakfast is included! 😁 Thank you for sharing this amazing night walk in Williams, AK! 🤗

Grew up here in the 60’s - 70’s. There wasn’t anything going on there. I have driven through when i am in AZ. Glad to see there is more happening there now

Sounds like you were pleasantly surprised by Williams, AK. It's definitely my favorite Route 66 stop, with Flagstaff a close second. Just outside of town are Bearizona and the Canyon Coaster Adventure Park, which are both lots of fun.

Well I sure got my kicks from Route 66 watching this AK. Was on the lookout for that little red car ⚡️ McQueen. Got more than l bargained for Neon lights old museums and shops galore l just ❤ every bit . Happy traveller's dream. Did you type $3.50 per night😮 just checking.😊.

It's 60 miles to the Grand Canyon's southern rim from Williams, not a 1/2 mile. Just Got Back From There 09/2024.

Williams is more like 54 miles from The Grand Canyon National Park. You miss spoke saying is half a mile

A charming little place. I wonder how much of Route 66 survives. On a more recent thing, I've read a headline saying that a boy fell 100ft at Grand Canyon, but survived.
