I always remember you saying "better to do something than nothing!". That stuck with me. xo

How about this idea... still make sheetpan eggs and sheetpan sausage. Spread it all out into the cooking sheets. After they are cooked, use your biscuit cutter to make rounds. Then take the extra/edges and chop up for your burritos. We've done that before and it's a time saver. Also all of the components of the breakfast sandwiches are exactly the same size!

Amy if you cover fry food it will loss the crispy texture faster than leaving it uncovered.

You could make the breakfast sandwiches without cheese, and for the ones who like cheese, they can put a piece of cheese on their sandwich before warming it up and the cheese will get all melted.

Amy a trick i learned while working in a truck stop that served fried chicken was when it gets close to done it will float, it is done when it looks like it is floating on top of the oil, and the bubbling will be just about gone.

With cast iron, put a little oil in it and don’t put the food in till a bit of water skips across the surface. Then put the food in. It works for me that way

I cant send you a pic but it works. You asked about scallions being replanted.easy peasy. When you cut the root part just take them and stick in a shallow flower pot.partial s or full. Water daily, don 't flood them they will grow. Free scallions .

Maxine is so cute and she was communicating with you so perfectly. Each time she would get your attention with a bark, she would look over at the chicken on the stove. I could practically hear her saying, “It’s right there, Mommy!” 😍

When you reheat your fried foods I put on a large rack in oven and bring back up to temp. I try not to fry to often but our favorite way to eat fries and chicken. As far as a dog collar I think Maxine does well. We had a dog that had to have the collar and I hated it but all the neighbors were being disturbed. I plan on doing some breakfast meals soon it really helps on those days you just don't feel like cooking😢

I made the poor boy subs last Saturday, and my family loved them!! If you put cornstarch in with the flour, it helps make it crunchy, and I only flour once. I absolutely love your videos!! Thanks for sharing ❤️

If your oil temperature goes down, u may be putting a little too much in at one time. Turning the oil up too much may cause it to taste burntlike.

Good morning, Amy. We use our iron skillet more than anything. Once I'm done cooking, we wash it with soap and water. Then we put it on the fire and let the fire dried out while it's still on the fire. I poured oil in it and take a paper towel and rub it around and season it to make it again. It does not stick has never stuck. Hope this help.

I was told I was doing it wrong, and I knew I was. My fried chicken did not turn out. I was told to season your flour and eggs. Then dredge your chicken in the flour first, then egg, and then flour again. Then fry it. It is delicious and has a great coating. I use this method every time now.

I'm watching how you cook your eggs. Do you add water and steam the tops ? I always flipped mine over to cook them. Do you find it is different in the taste or texture? Does it cook faster and actually keep the yolk from breaking or does it harden the yolk? Is it more like a poached egg?

Good morning Amy, I thought I would tell you something I saw a lady do. She made egg salad without having to peel eggs! It was clever! She took as her eggs and cracked them open in a glass pan then she put that glass pan in a bigger glass pan that had water in it and put it in the oven and let them cook! How clever! Brought them out and scraped them in a bowl and proceeded to make her egg salad! I didn’t know if you had seen that before but I would pass it along.
