i am always in awe of how strong the trees must be in your area with that fierce wind, like we rarely get wind like that in new england, like sure in winter storms come off the ocean, but there's no leaves then, and beyond that? super rare. i say that but boston has the highest average wind speed in any city in the us but oh well lol.

I can not wait to see all of the fall decorations!! It is still so hot here but this morning is the first slightly cool morning we have had so far. I absolutely love the idea of planting all of the pumpkins and decorative squash you did that year you had tons of them to decorate with. It has to be more economical to plant your own fall decorations. I would love to try that next year since I have the room now to do that.

Loved watching your cornstalk harvest, always so fun! We had to bring ours in early this year...We had bandits raid our garden for the first time EVER...Racoons! We've never had them before! They enjoyed themselves with our corn, so we decided to bring the rest in early and saved 11 big, beautiful bundles for our house and to give away. So pretty!

I broke my femur 2 years ago. I also could not put any weight on it. Start to finish it took 11 months before I could walk on my own. I hope she’s doing better.

It depends on the fracture and where it is. My old boss also broke his ankle and had to use crutches for almost a year. I broke my arm as a child and it was fine after a few weeks.
