Gaumukh Tapovan treck is on my wish list I was a 6yrs old when I 1st visited Gangotri in the year 1996 My parents went to Gaumukh treck keeping me back at Gangotri with my relatives... From then I had a dream to visit Gaumukh... This I visited Badrinath & Tunganath but due to time shortage couldn't do Gaumukh & Kedarnath... Let's see may be next year I will try to go 🚶‍♀️

😁 Gomukh see Ganga nehi Bhagirathi nikalti hai. Ganga Devprayag se start hoti hai. Gomukh actually 2.5 km Piche chala gaya pahele se.

It's one and the same thing , u call it Ganga or Bhagirathi !! For me it is always GANGA because the one which is flowing down from Shivji's divine hair is GANGA also the place from where it starts is GANGOTRI. Ye bhagirathi and ganga ye sab recent years mein start hua hai..har har gange.
