Even after so many years from independence, when I visited the place it surely gave me the creeps! And the room where prisoners used to be hanged was the most frightening one to visit even if you were with a group of people. It somehow makes you feel weird. Truly the creepiest jail in history!

You forget veer savarkar. He wrote geeta rahasya when he was in the kaala pani jail while enduring all the torture. He also made several attempts to be free. Out beloved Veer Savarkar was sent there 2 times and he was so brave to attempt to escape from there and was even successful. But our politicians blame him as a bootlicker. Of britishers just on the basis of a fake letter of mercy. God bless our politician and generation.🙏🙏🙏🙏

It wasn't fake I've been to celular Jail.. waha pe multiple book hai jisme kala Pani ki saja and waha ke prisoners ke baare me bohot sari cheeze likhi hai..
