Guys please take this seriously. we from vijayawada, Andhra pradesh are now suffering alot coz of floods. exact thing happened as budameru canal bridge broke 4 days ago. still not recovered. 32 people got washed away and died. There are bodies floating in some places. Many are still missing. Ours is just a canal bridge, yet it created an horrifying deluge at it worst ever in vijayawada's history. But I'm worried, he is mentioning about huge old dam in this video. Imagine how much of a damage it could possibly cause to people of Tamilnadu n Kerala once if that dam breaches out. I remember signing online petition ' Save Mullapperiyar ' in 2011. It is 2024, the floods of 2018 and 2019 happened, and even when Mullaperiyar dam wasnt opened, there was havoc in Kerala. So just imagine what will happen when something like a small earthquake of 6.5, as mentioned in this video occurs. Many people still consider it as a possession problem between TN & KL. Normal people and water doesnt know boundaries or the possesion. We grew technologically much when compared to 2011, and still Mullaperiyar issue is not solved yet.

Amit Shah inaugurated a bridge and within a year that bridge got closed due to low quality and it has been more than 2 year still bridge is closed and people needs to face traffic evwryday. No dam can sustain for 999 years. As such the agreement executed in 1895 for 999 years is invalid. Also, the Maharaja signed the agreement under pressure from the British. Therefore, there was no free will in the contract due to which the agreement is to be treated as void. The dam is in Earthquake prone area. The dangers to the dam were raised by experts like IITs, UN and human rights bodies. The impending grave disaster may lead to more than 35 lakhs directly and another equal numbers due to disease etc. Time has come to immediately take proactive steps to thwart the worst human tragedy in the history of India.
