That really interesting did you test that? I ask because other heavy guns do not get buffed by the card.

@@jacobpounder522 I just tested and the science cards did not boost even with Tesla coil capacitor. Hopefully Bethesda might make a change to allow heavy guns to be buffed by the science cards.

Grenadier does not increase damage. Demo expert does. This is an AOE weapon at not a single target killer. The damage is the same it just looks cooler.

Penta barrel more than makes up for the 9 damage loss.also the Tesla coil capacitor adds energy damage that nearly equals the prime capacitor

@genkigirl4859 I don’t have much experience with that barrel but maybe I will have to give it another look. Yes the Tesla coil capacitor does almost the same damage as the prime capacitor so that definitely is a good option considering the prime barrel uses so much flux. Thanks for the comment!

Looking at the recent change where prime is now additive it might be better to go with the alternate receiver mods.

Yes I agree the penta barrel is definitely worth a go and the 9 damage loss is really not noticeable tbh

Yes, demo expert will increase damage. I use that with this weapon :P

No this isn’t a legacy weapon. I am simply using the perk grenadier with my gauss Minigun. This is the current interaction between those.

Gauss weapons are considered hybrid weapons, they are both energy and ballistic weapons. 👍🍻 Works with pistol, shotgun, rifle and minigun.
