Words can't express how much this song connects to me emotionally... I had exactly the same experience in high school. I was bullied and spent every day wishing I was 21. Out of school. Away from the narrow minded school children and out in the real world. I'm 21 now and I look back with such sadness at how I missed out on so many experiences at school, hiding from those who made my life a misery, letting the anxiety they generated rule me. Thank you Gavin for writing such a beautiful song. I saw you live when you supported Kodaline in Birmingham and it was honestly one of the most beautiful sets I've ever heard.

I passed through a difficult experience during school too, I started to fight back, and I fought almost all my life, I got in many fights and I never stopped by myself until I knocked down someone, I have a few physical and emotional scars I carry on with me reminding me that I didn't got nothing else for me less than pain, I have a family now, and problems of anger management wish is my worst fight these days specially because my older daughter is just like me, and it's sad to see her get angry so fast and I have to stay by her side to guide her to a better way and let her have a better life, that's why I have to deal my worst fight, for the ones that I love.

I'm completely blown away by this video, this song, it's melody, the lyrics! Everything! I sat in silence after watching this for a good 5 minutes before I could bring myself to do anything. Even now I'm lost for words. It's a rear and beautiful talent be be able to put that sort of emotion into a song and touch so many people with it and the comments on here show that you and hit that nail right on the head! I understand why this video has dislikes. For some people who have been through domestic violence or have been bullied it can be hard to see. But all the respect in the world for making this video! It's clearly touched thousands of people and to me that would be worth more than anything in the world! Gavin James you are truly a rear and untapped talent, who I'm sure will surprise me with moving song after moving song for years to come! Don't ever stop doing what you're doing, because for that to happen would be a tragedy.
