I took my AR10 .308 to Three Forks last weekend and had cycling issues due to excessive pressure as well. Lol. Great learning experience when the loads worked well home.

To note while 223 does get blown around, it's not that limited in a bolt gun. You'd be surprised at what a 75gr AMAX at 2900-3000 will put out on a ballistic table out of a 223 trainer. My first match 3rd place was a 223AI. Glad you enjoyed it, PRS is awesome, and IMHO has one of the more welcoming crowds to newcomers in shooting sports, which i like.

I'd go to www.precisionrifleseries.com/ and see what you can find! Talk to the folks at your local rifle range. They should know what's going on. Do it! You'll have a lot of fun!

You’re better served with a bolt gun in PRS. I have run a large frame AR in 308 which worked really well out to 700 or so yards however bolt guns are more forgiving when you make mistakes

Keymod sucks, M-Lok is soooo much better for exactly this reason. That being said, I'm glad keymod was made to kick magpul in the ass to make M Lok
