Mark. I I bought this phone recently for 200 quid. The battery life is outstanding on this phone. Ive is I'm trying not to install many of the Huawei extra software in here cos I think it may impact k on the the battery life and put more uneccesarry calculations on the processor and slow the phone down. It is a great phone though. The swift key text input is great.. And and also the voice to text

Has the camera improved at all with updates? I have a Samsung galaxy a20e and I'm really disappointed with the camera. Would the mate 20 lite be a good upgrade? Cheers!

Hey, Thank you for your great Video. I have the problem when I take a Selfie it gets so Bright, I look like a gohst. If it's a bit darker a Bright square field Pops up and overlights the Selfie. Is there a solution for this problem? I went to a store but they couldnt help me. Thank you in advance.

In camera app, switch to video mode, make sure in settings resolution is 1080p 30fps, if holding phone portrait , bottom left on screen is a wand. Tap on that reveals all the options. If you don’t see the wand, you’re on an older firmware, maybe build 106. Build 113 and higher has these options. New firmware comes from tomorrow

101 is the build number. That's really old. You are missing tons of features which won't appear until you have updated your phone. Wherever you got the phone from, can't have been a retail version, more likely a press or review sample?

Hi Helen. 2 options. Snap when in focus. Crop photo afterwards. Or do 2 x zoom. Then crop again afterwards.

Am really impressed with Huawei Mate 20 lite and their camera features they have given to their budget smartphone. I can only imagine the great things and features they will add to their main flagship device the Mate 20 Pro. Exciting times to be a tech nerd.

Thanks Peter. This is the Mate 20 Lite. Theres a big difference between the 2. The P20 Pro has a far superior camera. The Mate 20 Lite is a lot cheaper as well.
