Tbh the police portrayal actually seems quiet realistic considering their irl record. Very recently there was horrific report about cops basically mentally torturing a man who reported his father missing to get a confession from him that he killed his father. Like they threatened to shoot his dog and 'gave' him an hour to say goodbye to his dog. Mind you there was no body or anything. And then of course the father is found alive and well. So arresting somebody who was missing and setting their bail high to get back at them seems on par.

"This isn't just book logic, this is Sara Shepard logic." such true words! I read the first couple books in the Lying Game series, if not the first three. But Sara Shepard did the same thing with increasing the number of books the series. PLL originally ended with 8 until the show aired and then when the TLG books were announced she said it was going to be 4 books. Already with you getting into the first book I didn't remember Sutton being dead because I remember the show pretty well. so do you know who the 3rd sister is or is that not brought up again?

The quote about the sisters not being stars, but a constellation, and how they would always be together- really got to me, and made me cry just listening to you repeat it 😂😂. Just finished listening, and one major thing is bothering me. The whole time Emma is pretending to be Sutton, isn't Emma technically "missing"? Is no one looking for her? Is her absence ever explained??
@GavinReadsItAll4 ай бұрын
Her foster parent kicked her out so no one was looking for Emma, since she had been bounced around so much and didn’t really make many connections except her friend Alex who she would text every now and then
@spaceorc13974 ай бұрын
@@GavinReadsItAll Ah okay. But what about school?
@BaileeWalsh4 ай бұрын
@@spaceorc1397 Emma is kicked out on her 18th birthday so technically I don't think she has to go to school anymore if she didn't drop out. And I think that also means the school wouldn't have to get involved or follow through with being concerned. Plus, if they did contact her foster mom she would just give them the leaving/getting kicked out on her 18th birthday story. So no one has a responsibility towards her, allowing her to vanish without concern or legal measures.
