Can't wait. I often have Vegemite & cheese sandwiches (usually on wheat bread). I simply spread the Vegemite generously (or as much as its consistency allows) and then top with cheese. My go-to is usually Havarti as its creamy nuttiness allows the sammy a nice balance between cheesiness and Vegemite-ness.

Apply it very sparingly to hot buttered toast. Less is more when it comes to any of the "mites".

How did you like your Vegemite? Hopefully you enjoyed some on top of a thick layer of butter on toast or crackers!! The Australian way is to make a sandwich of crackers, butter and Vegemite, then squeeze the crackers together so the butter and Vegemite squirm out of the holes!!

Gav, do you remember Kraft Vegemite Singles from back in the 90s? I loved them as a kid! That could be another thing you could try - the ultimate Australian-American cheese!

This is so cool and that is a spectacular looking cheese! By a weird coincidence, I was eating vegemite sandwiches when I started watching this 😂 I have been known to eat vegemite (and marmite) by the spoonful, so I think I'll have to try this out. Can't wait for the taste test.

I’ve tasted in my life cheese cured in ; champagne, filtered peels and pits from red wine, filtered corn after whiskey, miso, barley from beer proses, but I never ever would think about a most iconic Australian Vegemite cheese. Charlie will be,,very impressed on his next visits, Cheers from Spain

Love your videos Gav, but 26th of Jan is not celebrating the date of federation (that occurred on 01/01/1901), but it's celebrating the date of the raising of the Union Jack in Sydney cove, by the first fleet - the formal date of establishment of the british colony of NSW. This is why this date remains contentious - it is marking the British colonisation of what was Indigenous land.

Is Vegemite cheddar commercially available? In the UK you can get Marmite Cheddar from most supermarkets and it looks exactly like the one you made.

I’ve never seen Vegemite cheddar for sale here. We did have Vegemite chocolate for sale once but it didn’t sell well. I wonder why

Hi Gavin your channel got me into making cheese, my first try went horribly bad but I'm gonna try again until I get that goddamns cheese aging! I wanted to ask as I was looking for video for 2 recipes and I was surprised that it's not there yet (I found that this guy knows probably every bloody cheese that is out there) Those cheeses are Stilton cheese (looks delicious!) and Roquefort (never gonna spell that correctly) If you get them them one day it would be amazing and especially stilton one. Wish you all the best and can't wait for another video Greetings from Slovakia! And if you get interested check for Slovak easter cheese (traditional cheese from eggs without aging) or bryndza (used to make national food) made from fermented sheep milk

I wait for the sealing light to go off, then I hit the seal button again, while the plastic is hot. I find this will seal, even if there is a bit of moisture at the seal line. Does the Vegemite thin when warmed?
