To summarize the story (spoilers obviously): Mitsuka was often left alone at the park while her dad was at work. She most likely hit her head going down the slide. She called her dad to tell him, but he still didn't come home early. He found her dead when he returned. He went crazy, kidnapped another girl, and killed her. Then he called the police, confessed, and jumped off the building. And they all lived happily ever after.

Chilla's Art once more showing off that they are the masters of wielding any type of horror to create games able to keep you up at night! Meanwhile Betsy was sent back to the producer to fix something and accidentally got his brain factory reset trying to sing the alphabet. He might have to go to the glue factory after all this... What a straight dive into the morbid and creepy with this one, it began as unsettling as expected with the passing of the protagonist's daughter. Looking to bring her deceased soul back from the beyond, he discovers a strange website and receives a camera to take photos of spirits. The story unfolds with this despondent father revisiting the park where Mitsuka, his daughter, is last seen and he is greeted by the paranormal. This game knows its atmospheric horror, it build the tension masterfully with any and all sounds incoporated like the drowning, the vending machine going off or even that toilet flush with immediate rustling noises following. Or the visuals such as the hand reaching out from the vending machine or sceatching the bark of that tree, the blood on the backpack and the torn up doll on the floor of the bedroom. The park turning so sinister and dark past 6 pm was a great touch. It didn't give a moment to relax. And the camera mechanic letting us see where ghost activity is taking place enhances the experience, it poses as the window to the other world! Gathering the codes written on various things helped gather the hints needed to find where something was hiding and once the necessary photos were taken, they were uploaded to the liberation website in hopes of bringing what was held so dear back to the world of the living. Watching you try and figure out which snapshots would be fitting was a delight, you took your time trying to understand how it worked and eventually your eye for detail caught on to the legs on the slide! Best part was switching into photograph critic mode when selecting pictures of Mitsuka and naming various flaws or strong points in the form of the lightning having been off or how her outfit pick was fantastic for that day. Speaking of slides, nothing better than going down a slide that was at least a small whimsical gem in a sea of terrifying horrors and I loved that you went down multiple times for the fun in it! Hunting for all the photo spots did not take you long either, you caught on quickly and sought it out. Jumpscares get you good, considering the tone is already set to make you feel incredibly nervous they hit harder. Felt like I lost some years of my life when the mouse creature approached at rapid speed, not to mention the chainsaw it had. Such a disturbing fellow, crawling out of the shadows when the opportunity struck. Ending the way it did... My jaw dropped, holy moly. It seems there's various interpretations to this and after doing some reading, two came up that stood out to me. Particularly that Mistuka's father neglected his daughter for his busy work schedule to the point she meets her untimely end hurting herself on the slide and succumbing to her injuries. A grief-striken father would resolve to do anything... Even taking another child in to replace his lost daughter. It seems that did not ease the pain, however and resulted in what could be a confession of his guilt and owning up to his mistakes. Makes you wonder if that was what was needed to set Mitsuka free... It's fascinating, really because another theory appears to be that a malevolent spirit had its hands in what transpired. Possibly a shapeshifting one named Obake with the recurring form of an animal which could explain the mouse costume. Or it is a manifestation of the father's guild. Cursed Digicam leaves a lot open to interpretation, fantastic game so thank you for another wonderful playthrough on the list of Chilla games! Zatsu afterwards was a palate cleanser of the hysterical sort. How did we go from the Bible written by the Founding Fathers telling of the great floor rotisserie chicken to League for six months straight (would watch that) to slandering airfryers and theorycrafting what it would be like to live as a grown person with the mind of a toddler? Nevermind the fact that time is not real, demonstrated adequately by your and I quote "Epic science alarm" in order to see whether the sun would explode in 7 minutes after traveling to us. All the more hilarious that you forgot you had set this entirely when it went off. What ultimately made your and our brains melt was the changing of the alphabet song rhythm. Whoever decided that has made a grievous mistake, those newly implemented pauses between the normally thrown together letter soup feel so off. Attempting to learn the rhythm hurt, when you pinned the comment I gave it a whirl only to see myself defeated... Then we had some _world premieres_ starring new words for our vocabularies as well as tongue twisters! Genius use of the clip, your comedic timing is as impeccable as ever. Going southern accent was the icing on the cake, I've never laughed more when the Sally sea shells one brought you to the ending screen! This in its entirety is could win multiple awards for silliest moment of the year, with you there's always a high chance for the unhinged! For some other stuff that was talked about, I believe the balance between banter and kindness is just right when it comes to how we handle it here! Your comparison of a cartoon character suddenly showing kindness made quite a bit of sense, it makes the rare moments you show your emotions all the more precious. Shoutout to IloveBettel for saying they love us Bettelion, what a sweetheart! Dedicated to the bit until the very last, big applause to that! Being forgotten has got to be worse in my eyes, it would mean no one close to you would have any memory left that you as a person existed and that's heartbreaking to think about.
