When did they remove the lights as i only started druving in 2000 and only ever as far as nerang untill 2001 and ti cant remember any lights at all. In nerang. When did they do the over pass n no lights

Wow just did this exact almost run today 26/1/2025 almost 28 yrs later and it felt the same constant road works and 60 from tugan/bupass to reedy creek lol cool vid love it

I know it's the middle of the day on a Thursday, but look how light the traffic is. These days we have 4 lanes full all day every day.

53 minutes from the border to Beenleigh on a highway with 2 lanes and traffic lights. It’ll take you an extra 30 minutes with 4 lanes almost 30 years later

No barriers separating north and south. I remember a few times trucks crossing over and cleaning up oncoming traffic. Especially around Worongary.
