Why should a gay person be "proud"? Bindumadhav Khire shares an invaluable lesson in humanity and challenges us to rethink our perceptions of what is "normal". Bindumadhav Khire is a Gay Rights Activist from Pune. He retired from his IT career at the age of 35 and in 2002, founded Sampathik Trust in Pune to work for LGBTI Rights.
He has written 8 books, 3 plays and has made 2 short films on these issues. He has been organizing Pune Annual LGBTI Pride Walks since 2011.
At TEDxPICT, he will be talking about Gay Pride and his experiences, perspectives, and things that should change. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

My life story is same like you sir, depressed, suicidal and marriage with a woman that ended with divorce, but now I am in America looking to make my life. I love your thoughts, they are a replica of my life full of struggles, pain, rejection from my parents. I wish the world was open minded and respect everyone like human beings should do.
