'Anpanman' is inspired by a Japanese animated character, a hero whose head is made of bread, but with a big heart. Jimin: "Anpanman is the weakest hero in the world. He gives away a part of his head to eat. He may not have superpowers, but he is always there for you. We compare ourselves to him because we may not have powers, but we would like to give hope and energy through music".

Jimin is so beautiful and his voice heavenly. He is a classically trained dancer and was top student and he also learned popping and locking.He has a black belt in Taekwondo and is a Kendo master having studied it for 8 years Other martial arts too. Beautiful but deadly. All 7 are amazingly talented.

Another case of Jimin collecting men like Pokemon😂😂😂. So Anpanman literally translates to "breadman" since his head is made out of bread, so his only "superpower" was giving bread to starving children. The more bread he gave, the more of himself he would lose, so he was basically sacrificing himself to save children from hunger. So BTS use this as a double metaphor in their song "Anpanman". In one way they are saying that even though they don't have superhero superpowers like superman's or batman's supercar, they want to be heros to their fans, by making them happy through their music and content. Even though it is tiring and they might get hurt or lose themselves along the way, they want to continue providing that "bread" (entertainment, hope, happiness, etc in their context). In another way, they are saying that you don't need to be a super powerful superhero with superpowers to be a hero. The little things you do that help others are part of being a hero. This was a long comment. I hope you now have a better understanding of the song😊.

'ugh' is a song about feeling angry at the anger expressed over useless things like haters be mad over someone success and 'ugh' represent how feelings of anger is supposed to be used better like be mad to protect ppl not to take ppl down, how haters be like "oh they make money so they can handle hate comments about them", but like their anger is just so empty and non- beneficial to either them or the one they say hate towards, "Anger" is not some feelings to be used to take ppl down or to hurt ppl, so 'ugh' is the song to say how at least bts anger got them fueling and working hard and now they're at the top without taking anybody down while the haters still be at the bottom with their anger at bts (if there are some wrong words please correct me ARMYs luv u) Literally their anger is not considered anger but feces, just like in the lyrics 🔥 Also, addressing how these useless anger hurt ppl - there are many tragic histories in kpop where, *sigh, iykyk, I'm sure ppl know useless anger=hate towards ppl can make ppl $u*c*d@l

"UGH!" is actually a very philosophical song with a lot of Korean wordplay(like ddaeng) that a non-Korean person will never fathom upon first listen, so I suggest "BTS-UGH! Explained By A Korean" by DKDKTV youtube channel. They are one of the best channels that break down BTS's music videos and lyrics. The lyric video by Jaeguchi butchered the lyrics(as they always do) and they put the wrong members for some verses, that it was so hard to watch. It's like they were google translated. So much meaning and depth was lost in the lyric video. Like you, I liked the song upon first listen, but I didn't know what it was about, so I checked out an explanation video and I was mind-blown by the level of thought that was put in it. And honestly, it was the same for almost all BTS songs that I heard...on the surface level, you would think that the song is about what the content of the lyrics is presenting, but as you dig deeper into the meaning you find out that it was way more deeper than you thought, for example, "boy with love" on a surface level sounds like a romantic love song about a girl( atypical boy band song), but it's actually a metaphor about how they want their relationship with ARMYs to be like and how armys have helped them achieve all they have achieved.

Actually UGH is quite easy to fully understand if you have a good translation. There is not a lot of wordplay and also isn’t that philosophical. I watched the explanation and it did not say anything I hadn’t realized by myself. But I guess people’s interpretation skills are not all to the same level so the explanation video can be useful.

If you want better understanding of ugh and ddaeng you should check out explanation by DKDKTV there are Korean so they do explain a lot of metaphor used. Rap line songs are really deep because the members writes and produces these songs on their experience and RM is a genius btw thank you for reacting hoping for more bts soon💜💜💜
