Nice to meet a couple in my age group. My partner and I 40 years together he is 98, I'm 78 planning our next cruise 37 days San Diego to Bora Bora and return. We love to travel and cruising is the only kind of travel we can do where he can travel with his EV scooter. Luckily walking is our only malady, and we are grateful for that. But I can give your the names and addresses of dozens of extremely nasty haters in various liberal cities -- the very people weaponizing tolerance (fake tolerance). Fortunately my parents raised me not to expect everyone to like me and not to worry about it. What freedom! But I get your point. In my experience, conservatives mind their own business and believe that your sins are your business. Or course, being gay is only one of like five billion biblical sins, so I think the point lies elsewhwere, namely who goes through life without sins? Without obstacles? Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins and giving me thus eternal life in your realm of loving forgiveness. Hey, at least we're not airhead woke snowflakes wandering in the dimness! @@wraithconscience - Very well put! A lot of gay Christians know the verses that very clearly condemn being gay but never experienced that condemnation from God, so how to explain this gap? Rich and I will be doing a video about this later this summer, but in the meantime, if you are interested in reading about the 'why' behind the 'what' where these verses are concerned, please check out 'The Children are Free - Reexamining the Biblical Evidence on Same-sex Relationships' by Rev. Jeff Miner and Rev. John Tyler Connoley. This book helps explain a lot of the cultural context these verses were written in as well as some miss-translations that occurred throughout history. It's well researched and heavily footnoted and helps provide some explanation. It's never going to convince anyone else homosexuality is okay but it can help fill in the gap between the Bible verses and personal experience. You can find a new or used copy on Amazon or Ebay. WOW .... This is really nice to see. The fact that you have an established relationship first and foremost with God. All to often we are in persuit of desires and many almost NEVER seek Gods direction. The world wuould Have you believe that God does not honor same-sex relationships as it relates to what the Bible says. I believe that God is so much bigger than other people's opinions of how we should live our lives. I could not fathom a God having a problem with 2 individuals who seem to love admire and respect one another in the most genuine of ways. I am a 55-year-old African American male. Being gay and the black culture is essentially taboo. So watching this video is more encouraging you guys could probably even realize. You are a living manifestation of God's goodness and God's grace and the fact that he honors the designers of our hearts. I would love to see you guys do a considerable amount of content as you guys are certainly a wonderful example of hope When it comes to finding true love in a Homosexual World. I wish the both of you all Of the absolute best a meaningful relationship has to offer. Great question and thanks for asking. We are in a loving and monogamous relationship so there is no wickedness. We also realize there is much in the way of context that we have not dug into. God continues to bless and keep us and allows us to be a blessing to others. While we don't know all of the why behind the what where scriptures are concerned, we do trust our personal relationship God through Christ, and we are blessed. It’s nice to hear 2 gay guys use crazy religious talk too. 😃 I was starting to think only straight evangelicals thought like this! “God told me to throw away that app because he’s already picked out a nice guy for me. So I did.” I’ve never believed in that kind of revelation, but I love it when others get fun messages like this.
