Absolutely, make sure to take honeymoon. 38+ years together and my sweetheart and I never really had one. Now she's gone; I was planning one for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Don't put it off!

Mine is gone from me, 39 together, I know what you mean. I could write PJ and Thomas a note every day. They must know never to stop holding hands. They held hands in this ceremony, the hands they'll hold for fun and happy times, the hands they'll hold for bad and sad times-and the hand that will reach out to be touched when one is old.

Ok I’m in pieces, this was so beautiful, thank you for sharing such an intimate moment of your life with us. Your wedding was perfect, there was no pretentiousness to it, it was from the heart. Weddings are about the to people coming together to make one life together; and that’s exactly what you did and have done. Don’t regret any of it, you say about your clothes.. but what about them, that’s not what I saw or paid attention to, what I saw was a couple very much in love, sharing a special moment with people they love. I saw two people creating a new family, two beautiful souls becoming an inspiration to so many others. The awkward kiss that every wedding day has, that brings so much joy and meaning to a very special day. It was to me the perfect day. It means the world to me (us) that you share this precious time with us. Thank you so much for this inspiring and loving video.

Watching the clip of the ceremony brought tears to my eyes. Now every time I see a gay wedding or as it should be called just a wedding (because love is love), I cry. I just think that I never thought I would ever see it becoming legal and it warms my heart.

I had to watch this video again because I’ve been waiting for the 5 year wedding to do it right. Of course that was interrupted by the Covid-19 Pandemic. But, now the kiddos can be there which will be super great. And I hope the adoption will be complete making this wedding super, super great. And off to the honeymoon. No excuses, just go. take off for one week just the two of you and the kiddos join for a 2nd week. This might help determine where to go, like Hawaii. Look, you guys always use work for an excuse to change plans, or project to decide cost. You both deserve to take time off and really enjoy making the best memories of your life together. The kiddos will always have this asa super great memory of their new family. This is a “must”, one time opportunity guys. The new McKay family. Your mom’s should get to have this memory too, and how proud they will be. So go, make memories, and fighting until the honeymoon is over 😂, but serious though. And absolutely no working. You owe this to the both of you, no expense

I had to miss the premiere of this video to meet my mother for lunch, but I absolutely loved watching it after I got home. There’s something about that smaller wedding that just seems so typical of what we know of the two of you. And to be honest, the informal clothing really seems to fit the two of you as well. Thanks for giving us this extra view into your wedding day!

PJ and Thomas, You guys are so sweet and low key. Your wedding fit both of you to a T. I enjoy how romantic it was. I think you two have romance down to a fine art. Jim and I had been together for 9 years when we got married the first time. Around the first part of July 2004, we started talking getting married and agreed we wanted to. Shortly after we talked I talked to my brother and he told me he and Dan were getting married on September 11, 2004. I told Jim I wanted to get married before they did. That meant August. The main thing was to find an officiant and plan around his availability. I wanted a Catholic wedding and Jim agreed. The challenge was I couldn’t ask a Roman Catholic priest or use a Catholic venue because I am an Independent Catholic, not a Roman Catholic. I talked to my bishop and he agreed to officiate. As it happened he had to go to Texas for an emergency but he provided a former Roman Catholic priest. The wedding Mass took place in our back yard. It slopes down to the back fence so I put the altar by the fence and set the chairs on the slope going up to the house. The Mass went off without a hitch. We wore formal attire because I had never worn a tux before. A friend from work made a beautiful cake and another friend who owned a Viennese restaurant catered the meal for us. We had about 50 guests and were able to take care of all of them for both the Mass and the reception. I mentioned this was the first wedding which indicates there was at least one more. What gives? When we were married the first time, marriage wasn’t legal for same sex couples in Washington State. Whenit became legal, we were married at the courthouse by a Superior Court judge. I had spent 3 years studying for the Roman Catholic priesthood and a year assigned to a parish as a deacon. I said no to priesthood when I had to make specific plans for ordination. Eventually I found a small Independent Catholic denomination and Jim and started to attend their Mass. The denomination support GLBT folks and women clergy which were my big issues with the Roman church. The Bishop asked me to pastor a new parish which I agreed to and he ordained me a priest for that. Some years later he had to move on so I was elected bishop by my fellow clergy. The reason our wedding Mass felt a little strange to me is because it was the first time I had been to Mass in many years without wearing clergy attire. May God’s be with both of you as you continue to grow in faith and love

That was a very heartwarming and beautiful story about your wedding, I loved it very much. I did what the both of did and bought a house with my then fiance. Here is the back story. I met her on 02-28-1993 in my Fremont California condo complex. She lived directly below me on the first floor while I lived directly above her on the 2nd floor. She put a note with her phone number on my car and she said she wanted to meet me. I called her and we met in my condo and we immediately started to date and our relationship accelerated rapidly. I hold no secrets and my life is a open book so here it is. On 03-17-1993 we were having dinner in my condo and one thing led to another and we had our first very intimate encounter and that night I lost my virginity to a woman. I was exactly 32 years and 10 months old and I have to say my first time went very well and it is a event in my life that I still cherish to this day because it was one of the best nights in my life and is still very close to my heart. It also totally convinced me that I was straight and not gay and I thought that I finally put to rest and ended all thoughts that I was gay because I thought my " straight" side of had finally won the fight. We got engaged on 08-28-1994 and bought a house together in February 1995 and in the same month we set the date for our wedding for sometime in 10-1995. After we bought the house that is when the major problems started in our relationship. We never moved in the house because of those problems and made it into a rental property. I decided in 04-1995 to delay the wedding to iron out our problems and our differences. In 12-1997 we sold the house, in 06-1998 I sold my condo, and in 08-1998 I bought my own house in only my name and it is the house that I still live in today. The end came for my fiance and I in 03-1999 after she ordered me to choose between my family and her. I always put my family first because I believe with out a family you are nothing so I chose my family over her. I ended the relationship not be cause I was gay for at that point of time I had no gay or homosexual thoughts at all, but it was the problems in the relationship that made me end it. Well in 10-1999 all of those gay and homosexual feelings that I thought I had beaten resurfaced and I would battle them until 11-2008. My therapist gave me a book in 10-2008 to read about homosexuality and being gay and that book convinced me that a person is born Gay, Straight, Bisexual, and Transgender. It also taught me that being gay is not a choice, but a person is born that way. I was forced to come out of the closet when my 77 year old dad asked me If I was( it was just the 2 of us eating lunch in a restaurant) Gay and I was not prepared for that question for I did want to stay in the closet. I never lie so I told him I was gay and he told me that he loved me and this does not change anything in our relationship. 2 days later I came out to my mother and she the same reaction as my father did. There also many other reasons why I wanted to stay in the closet, but I would have write a 10 page essay about the numerous reasons that were involved. I then came out to the rest of my extended family over the next 2 months and everybody accepted it. I did not have any problems with anybody and my coming out experience was very scary at first, but it turned to be a very excellent, rewarding, and positive experience for me. I had no negativity from anybody during my coming out experience. It was all positive. I was 47 years old in 11-2008 and I never felt so happy in my life because the weight of keeping the secret that I was gay was lifted from me. I knew as early as 3 or 4 years of age that I had an attraction to the same sex and that I was gay and battled it off and on for 43 years. I will be 58 next month and I am so proud to be gay and proud to be a member of the Gay, Lesbian , Bisexual, and Transgender community. I do apologize for the length of this comment, but I wanted the both of you and the world to know my story. For me, it was a very long, scary, and rewarding journey to get me to the place that I am in today. In closing, the story of your wedding is a very beautiful, amazing, and loving story. Your Friend, Bryan.

Mums !... Thomas, yours may have seemed to be a ball-breaker, but she just wants you settled (in her mind), her son safe, happy, with a man she trusts. .... We SEE so MUCH of PJ ! - whats not to love ! ;o)

Very funny...late for your wedding. I've heard of being late for your funeral but never the wedding.

Y'all should consider doing reaction videos to music you dont often listen to. Like college rock for example or an artist such as Rufus Wainwright.

It sounds like a wonderful wedding day, and you both look so happy in the pictures. Some day, you're kids are going to be very happy that you've captured these stories.

So sweet...shows you were getting married for the right reason and not just for the occasion and party, a lot of people spend thousands on a wedding and dont make it to their first anniversary. Congratulations on 3 1/2 years👬😗😗
