I'm gay and 57. So glad to see young gay men talking about what it means and feels like to be gay and how to evolve and navigate the world as different than the norm. Awesome.

Hello, please know that Jesus Christ died for your sins. He loves us, but not our sins. Your gay life style is not a " born this way" natural accurance. Demonic spirit has influenced you in your thoughts to be gay and at some point you accepted it which gave that spirit rights to resided in you. Ask Jesus to deliver you from this spirit. Repent of your sins AND TURN FROM THEM. Ask to be reborn again in Jesus spirit. He is the ONLY way to Heaven. Until you seek him and choose to change you will not inherited the kingdom of God. Jesus is coming!!!! Will you know him in time?

Thank you so much for this video. I ended up here after I had seen the go go boy interrupted videos. I think finding this video is a weird in a good kind of way. This year has been a self-development/self-improvement year. I started reading books by Brian Tracy and listening to his recordings. He emphasizes the importance about having affirmations and writing those everyday. Now I hear about affirmations from you guys. I was thinking that people were going to think I was weird or crazy if I mention them that I was writing my affirmations. Probably most will but just hearing from you guys that having affirmations is a great thing actually makes me feel better. Thank you again for the video :)))

Hello, I'm just stopping in to let you know about God. God hates sin, but loves the sinner. God did not make Gay minded people. It's demonic. At some point you have been influenced by a demonic spirit, and you excepted it. Once you do, it gives that homosexual spirit the right to posses you. Jesus, died for you. Repent and turn away from your sins and ask to be reborn again in Jesus spirit. You will not be able to enter Heaven without being reborn again. Turn from your life style, it will ultimately lead you to your destruction.

+Caasi Janet (WalkingWithJesus) Caasi FYI: God also really hates judgemental people like you who think they know it all for "God" and really don't now shit. So, watch what you say about others, your ass Caasi could be struck down to the eternal fires first (Hell) by your "God" for judging. Stay in your lane boo or it will be YOU who will see their own self destruction.

I honestly think part of reason you see so many gay men in acting is because we have had to act our whole lives. We couldn't let kids in school know we were gay or we'd be tortured. We couldn't let little gay mannerisms pop out so we'd move with care and intention. We hid that we were gay 24/7. We still had to act straight when we went home from school. I wonder with more acceptance, are we going to see gay boys who grow up authentic and don't learn the "look straight" skills.

Not only that, but when you are a part of a community that literally is still trying to find its way after losing almost an entire generation, it’s not as simple as everyone thinks it is.

I am having such a good time watching Matthews videos. He has found a way to articulate things that we've all experienced, but maybe have been able to unpack in a way that isn't defensive or passive-aggressive. Good positive thinking and a positive approach to a lot of different personal and social issues. Oh, and also, how cute are these two together!

@bunji_beans8 жыл бұрын
I related to this more than I thought I would. I like acting and making people laugh, but I'm not a professional actor or comedian or anything. Even so, I've definitely felt that need to "perform" in front of people. I'm getting better at noticing it and at reminding myself that I don't need to do that. It helps me be more authentic with myself and others.

Hello, I'm just dropping in to let you know that Jesus loves you! So much so, that he died for you. God did not make you gay, it's a abomination to him. Why would he make a gay person to only condemn them later for it? You have a demonic spirit in you. This spirit has been influencing your thoughts to be gay making it seem like your own thoughts. Once you accept that thought then that spirit has the right to posses your sexuality. That spirit knows that being gay is against God. He also knows that if he can keep you from finding out the truth then you will be condemned like him. This demonic spirit HATES YOU, because God made a way for you to be forgiven so that you can be in Heaven. They (demonic spirits) hate you for that. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to deliver you from this spirit and for you to be born again into his spirit. Don't let these spirits keep you from Heaven. Heaven is REAL, but so is HELL. Don't let Satan fool you like he did Adam&Eve. Jesus is coming VERY soon! I hope you know him BEFORE then.

Caasi Janet I grew up with people like you telling me that there is something wrong with me and that I can't trust my own thoughts and feelings. I believed that for too long. I reject that now. Believe what you want, but people like you have done enough damage to people like me, so leave us alone.

Matt, here's a good subject for you to do a posting: It's my belief that gay men (or any man for that matter) who chooses to grow a beard is, in fact, growing a mask that will enable him to hide behind. I find within the gay community a large number of gay men do in fact have beards. What are your throughs?

Matthew I think it would be great to get one of your friends to interview you once for this channel bc I see you are always interviewing and I get the feeling you wear a mask for the channel and almost sort of a performance. I was watching the interview and I saw how natural and down to earth your friend is and you come off very corporate and clinical. Very clinical. Maybe next time interview on a couch or somewhere more personable. It would be nice to get to see maybe the real you stripped down, natural and authentic. I know this is something huge to ask for, but it would be helpful to see that non performance side of you. Setting wise maybe that would be a start. Hope I make sense and dont come off like I am hating. Just constructive criticism.

I am glad that the Boomer generation made amazing sacrifices on behalf of future gay generations. But must every single KZbin gay blogger be buff and gorgeous? How is the average gay man supposed to relate to this, a constant parade of Adonises as our mentors? How hard is it to be gay in Los Angeles when you are buff and gorgeous? Give me a fucking break.
