GAY PIRATES & BATH TIME BEEPS! | Two Beeps Honeymoon Roadtrip | CHARLESTON, SC

On Days 9 and 10 of our big gay road trip, we checked out the American Prohibition Museum, saw the beaches in Tybee Island, Georgia and drove to Charleston, South Carolina where we stayed in the fanciest hotel yet. In Charleston we went to America's first museum, ate in a church, and saw the famous rainbow row and pineapple fountain!

We generated some income through wedding gifts and used that to pay for our honeymoon! We also occasionally tap journalistic and influencer resources to leverage free or reduced stays.

A vegan restaurant that is better than Avo? I guess when I make my next trip to Savannah, I will have to try out the Fig and Fox (and I’m not even vegan!). To me, Savannah and Charleston have very similar vibes, even if they are different in a lot of ways. It was cool in the museum to see the Burma-Shave signs; I don’t really remember them, but my parents had a book that collected every Burma-Shave sign, and a lot of them were very clever. And the look on John‘s face when Jeremy was telling him about the pirates was priceless!

Definitely check out Fox & Fig if you can! Really brilliant restaurant, although that's not to take away from Avo.
