GAY & VEGAN IN MADRID

This was a great deal of fun and a perfect video to watch late! I particularly liked the section where the guy was playing “La Vie En Rose” on the saxophone. I have to admit I am far from vegan, though I have enjoyed vegan meals before. That one dessert looked awfully good, even though my only experience with vegan cake was not terribly pleasant. There is a vegan bakery less than a mile away that I’ve never been to, and maybe I’ll have to give it a try.

That bear bar symbol was funny because a bear eating from a 'madroño' tree. You see it on all the taxis in the city. (the translation app says that's a 'strawberry tree' in English, but who the fuck ever heard of a 'strawberry tree.' ) The bad news is that the progressive gay friendly mayor just got voted out there and has been replaced by a nasty regressive city administration. I'm so sorry for Madrid. But Barcelona's still ok on that front, and the Spanish national government too.

Good music with the video. You guys really put some great footage together when you film your vacations. It is always informative and educational. I really pay attention to what is going on.
