Forgotten Friends Friday! - Ephemera Cache Rediscovered!

Today I'm repurposing ephemera that I've pulled from purchased 5 ring binder journals. I'll decorate them to make them my own while keeping bits and pieces on the original ephemera. Thanks so much for crafting with me today! xoxo

It is quite fascinating how our styles and preferences change. Things we made 2 or 3 years ago get forgotten as we learn new techniques, find new tools and supplies, etc. I love this series, Gayle. It is encouraging me to look through my stash and use it up or get rid of it.

Well for sure Gayle, it was Bert and Ernie's loss but our gain. You for sure have had those papers a very long time. Many of those came from the journal I made you at least five years ago. Once you started using that for your bunny journal you had to make room for all your amazing bunnies. The three little note pads you kept came from that journal. How wonderful to know some of your retreat buddies may take some of that stash home with them for their creative projects. Hope you are having a ball.

Hi there Gayle, this is a very cool forgotten friends… loved it.. you can glue The Whole backside of the bottom butterfly for it to be secure, and the wings will still fluff up… my little butterfly was happy to live there 🌸💕🌸🦋😍🦋

Well look at all the wonderful things you made with those forgotten friends! My sister said if every able bodied retired person would work a few days a week it would help some businesses stay in business. Her favorite restaurant was on the verge of closing because they couldn't get help since the "C". She is in her mid 70's and goes in 2 days a week and helps do food prep and they have been able to stay open. She loves it! Just like you have helped so many get through these trying times. We might have been stuck at home but we could still watch and create with Gayle! Have a blessed day!

Hi Gayle: Here's what I do with my glue topper. While crafting, I remove the pin topper & set it aside. Then, I only use a small knitting needle cap (mine is purple). I put it on & off the metal tip repeatedly as I craft. It's very easy & quick to use & keeps the glue in the tip from hardening. When done crafting, I replace the pin topper like normal. Gayle hello, when it comes to punch a thumb hole on magazines or the thin paper put a piece of cardstock behind it then your punch won't get stuck. I think Ceri showed me that.

That "gaylify" and "chellify" (for Chelle from The Ramblin Crafter) works good for one syllable names, but I haven't figured out yet how to make it work for multiple syllable names. 🙃 I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'm hoping to not leave the house until Tuesday. I had to go to the p.o. and grocery store this morning. When I drove over the overpass over i95 southbound was already backed up with traffic. Surprisingly even though rush hour was not long before northbound looked fine (north goes toward DC just 30 miles away and south towards Virginia Beach and Southern states). Love&hugs
