As I said the other day, I love these - so fun! And yes, I love the TH people and ancestors, etc. Silly fun, too. Also, about 10 years ago, not long after my husband got his much-loved Kubota tractor, a friend and neighbor (and my 3rd cousin) told him that he did his best thinkin' on his tractor. My son and the hubs and that point, were pretty well all but tackling one another for which of them would get to drive the tractor. One day, when they were here for lunch and the guys were doing some tractor jobs, we were all sitting on the porch admiring their work and suddenly our d-i-l jumps and and runs to the tractor to take it for her first ever spin around the field. She came back around and parked in front of the porch where we were sitting, leaned her elbow on her knee and her chin in her hand and said, "Yup. Got me some good thinkin' in." Every time you say, "Inkin' and thinkin'," I think of that day. :) Montoursville, the town where all of those French students and their advisors and teachers were from, is just about 10 or 15 miles from us. We knew a couple of the people who got killed that day. Almost everyone who lives in this valley was related to or knew someone who was. Very tragic and has had a lasting impact on this county. Having said all of that, I haven't watched the documentary. There comes a time when you're so close to a situation like that one, where it is discussed and rehashed and debated and lionized and on and on an on, you hit a saturation point, at least I do. I got some I almost can't stand to hear about it anymore. Does that make sense?

ohmygoodness gayle! this was so much fun, i'd say you were in "zippity doo-dah" mode 😆 meaning you were cranking out ideas for the sacks, and making yourself AND US giggle 😂 1st, i hope things got resolved with Google and Mr A, maybe he'll get some happy mail from google (or a discount!) you need the patience of a Saint (imo) when it comes to tech stuff so 3 cheers for Mr A! 2nd...the little dude perched on the pocket - heeeelarious and perfect! 3rd..."inking and thinking" lollollol your such a hoot! 4th... Every butterfly leaves a trail. I would use flat back tiny pearls. But to keep it flat, you could use sequins...tiny buttons would be adorable too. There was blank space for a small swirly and looping flight path. "Dots" can be closer together for smaller flutterby's.. I have a personal connections to blue butterflies, specifically. I would beg, barter, ot pay for that notecard looking pic with phrase on the play on the word Butterfly. Is happy mail traded.? Love you Gayle. Thanks for the giggles and wonderful ideas!

I glued pockets on some file folders to hold ephemera. Like yours mine didn't hold I used fabric tac and washi tape to fix them. Cute sacks! TFS

Lol **You can add the "hinges" on the clear plastic/ transparencies and use doublesided tape, it should stick great.? I have seen many others do it, still haven't tried it myself. *disclaimer, lol. Jenofeve (in her playlist as adding clear pockets (something?) & the Scrapqueen are the two most recent, that I remember. :)

I wish I could find that die cut for the view finder thing from the 80s. I’ve looked for the die cut for my machine and the cut outs for sale on Etsy and I guess she doesn’t have anymore for sale. So sad. One of those things you can’t let go of because you want it so bad. So silly.

Also, Amazon has a die from Echo Park Paper Crafts for $11.14 Do a Google search with the words “view finder die cut”. This is how I found these things and there are more.
