I thought this was very enjoyable and helpful to watch. I am trying to do more slow stitching in 2024. I shared my first attempt in a video last week and…. Well it provided laughs for everyone. I am just never afraid to dive in head first when it comes to crafting. I appreciate this help with the layout for the cover. ✂️📄🥰🌸🙌💕

Hi and hugs Gayle. It’s 2am here in Sydney Australia and I was binge watching your older videos because I couldn’t sleep. I was so happy your scrappy Saturday video popped up. I am a quilter so I love it when you work with fabric.

@@catherinelittle2118 I would like to iron all her pieces though, isn’t that a quilter “thing”. Lol
@catherinelittle21183 жыл бұрын
Yes Stacey, I try to always overlook the big folds and creases in the fabric. I would be ironing for sure. I always have my small iron by the machine. But, whatever helps people have fun and brings joy is more important. It wouldn't work for a quilt, though. At least not for me. LoL.
@sandrastacey22853 жыл бұрын
@@catherinelittle2118 yes, I have small iron and woollen ironing pad. You are right though, whatever works for the person doing all the work. Still, the work is beautiful.

How you can change from all the beautiful Christmas journals (more than one at a time) and now be doing all kinds of journal covers and ephemeral elements is just amazing to me. All of these are so beautiful. I’m excited to see that children’s journal comes about. I have a large size illustrated Charlotte web that I would like to follow along with you with that project. this has been so fun thank you. Thanks for all you share.

Watched your combo video with Barbara and Joie yesterday. I bet that was fun. Good questions, great answers. I found out I’m not the only one that feels OCD about including 3 and 5 elements on my spreads! I subscribed and listen to all 3 of your channels regularly. It was a treat to hear you together. Barbara also had a fun gelli printing session with Luise Heinzl recently. We live in such amazing times. People in Austria, England, and the US all able to get together, create a video, share ideas and solutions all in real time. The future they told us about when I was a kid has arrived.

Lovely! I've machine sewn strips diagonally across a 10"X18" fabric then sewn lace over the seams. Then folded in half and sewn up sides to make a bag to tie on walkers for the nursing home. They're fun and easy! I never thought to make them into journal covers but I will now! Thanks for the inspiration! 🤗
