This weekend is when the daylight saving-clock reset is happening. I think having it be darker earlier might bring me into a Christmassy mood. Right now I feel more like the Christmas grinch 🤪 I do have to figure out how to get through the holiday season this year and it not have me feeling lost and lonely. Need a bit of planning besides getting shopping done early, including groceries, to avoid crowds as much as possible. Ive had a wonderfully productive day... crochet a woolly hat and just sewn a lovey face mask from the free pattern by burda, so I'm rather cheerful atm :) I cant believe how fast you are at putting a signature/book together! It really boggles my mind! I take DAYS or more doing just one! All those who are suffering with the fires out there in the States, you are in my thoughts, stay safe! Remember, things can be replaced, you cant!

Well, I’m a day late. I thought I would spend all Sunday crafting on my Christmas journals but my friend wanted to go birding so I spent the whole day gone. I did get some decent pictures of sandhill crane, tons and tons of white fronted geese have arrived and the snow geese are starting to arrive. We were in another county so we got to eat in a restaurant inside which we can’t do where I live. Anyway, I love your Christmas journals, I’ve got to get mine finished because the mess is making me crazy. I don’t know how I thought I’d be finished by now I haven’t even finished one and the other one is barely started. But, here I am watching your videos instead of working. I can’t watch videos and craft at the same time. I know someone who lives in Kalispell, Montana and she just posted pictures on Facebook of snow, on the flip side, where I live this is the first day under 90 in I can’t remember how long.

Hi Mary! I can say what each style is to me. Boho is bright, sequins, gypsy style, over the top. Think belly dancing costume. Lol! I think if you search Gayle Agostinelli Boho, some videos of boho journals I’ve made should come up. And shabby chic is soft colors, lace, bling, soft and feminine. Good morning. Our weather here in CO has the same lag as your videos. It is gloomy and rainy today just as your video airs. Maybe the humidity will help the fires from getting bigger. Love those papers from rachel. Did you sell the slow stitch journal yesterday? I was on etsy and never saw it nor did it appear in my updates. Not that I had a chance anyway but worth a try. My dream is to have a Gayle journal someday. If it were nature or shabby chic themed it would be the icing on the cake. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Each journal kind of has it’s own personality. If I have printed on copy paper to use the pages for collage and then decide to use them as the signature, the backs will be white, so I just decorate them. Other things I do are print on coffee dyed paper or pre-printed “antiqued” paper available on my website, or print decorative on the front of the page and print a more plain digital on the back (so it can be written on), sew two printed pages together....etc, it sort of an artistic choice like anything else in the journal. Hope that helps a little! ❤️

I love all your videos!!! You inspire me to try a lot of new things!!! I see you print a lot of digitals!!! I have never tried to print them myself! Can you tell me if this is very expensive for the ink! I have a laser printer. I know this would be hard to tell me but I have no idea of cost or how much you can print without having to buy more ink. You print so much that I thought you might be able to give me some help. I have an Epson 2550 EcoTank printer. It is an ink jet printer that prints 4,500 color copies before needing an ink refill. And the ink is very reasonably priced. I used to have an HP laser Printer. I about went broke replacing the ink cartridges! 😬. The EcoTank printer has changed my printing life!! 😂. This kit came from Susan already printed so I’m not positive. But it’s something like the Red River Paper Co. matte photo paper (26 or 32 lb). 😁❤️
